Happy New Year!

Happy New Year's Eve!  With the strike of midnight comes new hopes and dreams for a healthy and  prosperous new year.  Of course kisses will be shared and what a perfect night for proposals!  While perusing Pinterest, I came across some great inspiration for New Year's Eve inspired weddings

I am loving all the wedding invitations gold bling! Inspiration for my next set of wedding invitation samples.  Sparkle is going to be big in 2014 and since the wedding invitation is what gives your guests a sneak peek of what your big day will be like, why not give it a little (or a lot) of sparkle!  Oh I can't wait to hit my favorite craft store to get my hands on some sparkle paper and ribbon!  Yes, stay tuned..I will post new pictures of my creations!

I also found lots of great favor ideas.  What better wedding favors for a New Year's Eve wedding than a cute little bottle of cider (or champagne).
Sparklers was a fun wedding trend this year and I have a feeling it will continue in 2014.  Definitely makes for great pictures!

I am a Pinterest-aholic (I just made that word up) and I have tons of wedding ideas pinned on my many boards.  I recently created a new board with 2014 wedding trends. You can click on the board at the bottom of my blog.  Happy Pinning!
Have a fun and safe New Year's Eve!

You said YES!

Tis the season .....for proposals!  Did you find something extra special under the tree this year?!  Christmas Eve 2002, I did!  The best Christmas gift I received was a beautiful ring and the guy of my dreams on one knee!  Of course I said yes!  Planning your wedding should be nothing but fun and exciting.  The more organized you are the easier it is (no matter the budget).  A wedding planning timeline like this one can help keep you on track.
There are also many wedding websites out there that can assist in the planning process.  I recently created a page on Wedding Wire ( http://www.weddingwire.com/biz/partee-of-four-roseville/fa4114ee461b2449.html) and I love it!!  Brides can create a wedding website, keep a binder, track your budget, search for vendors in your area, connect with other couples, and so much more!
I enjoyed the wedding planning process (having an awesome organized Mom who loved doing it helped too)!  Nowadays with Pinterest and all the other sites out there, inspiration and ideas are literally at your fingertips!
